Pcs School of the Arts: Drama Class 2016-2017

The drama class is designed to incorporate singing, dancing and acting while showing young actors the basics of stage presence, how to participate as an audience member, performance techniques, and how to participate in a cast environment. We always have fun and start in the fall by casting roles, learning songs and working on basic choreography. During Christmas break students are expected to start memorizing their parts and come back in the spring ready to work on staging and acting the production from start to finish without their scripts. The Drama classes are tailor-made for Perimeter School 1st-3rd grade students and begin at 12pm on Fridays in the lower ballet room. Students will have lunch prior to class and can order Wholesome Tummy meals or bring a sack lunch. They will then be picked up after class at 3:10 during carpool.
